Carbon 8 makes premium, disposable air filters specifically for the marine environment where gas contamination, mold and odors can be a problem. Carbon 8 air filters remove dust, lint, pet dander, odors, smoke, mold spores, allergens, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), and oil vapor, leaving behind only clean, fresh, odor-free air.
A two-stage filtering process begins by absorbing air particles and trapping them onto a MERV 8-rated adhesive coated surface to remove dust, lint and dander.
The antimicrobial properties control the growth of mold, mildew algae and fungi on the filters, ensuring indoor air is safe and clean.
The second stage features a highly absorptive carbon-laden MERV 8-rated polyester layer which removes nuisance odors, VOCs and gases from the airstream leaving air aboard your boat smelling fresh and free of odors.
Carbon 8 air filters are available for a variety of marine AC units, including chillers, air handlers and self contained units. Carbon 8 air filters fit Flow marine Systems, Marine Air, Cruisair, Aqua Air and Condaria. Custom sizes are available upon request.
